Nadia practiced some fancy moves on her new bike out at Bridgewater. She had so much fun that she didn't want to leave! Great job with the pedaling, Nadia! Next we'll work on steering and brakes!
Bridgewater is a private residence that serves as an accessible campus for children with special needs. The farm provides the opportunity to offer animal assisted therapy and related services in a beautiful natural setting that nurtures the spirit as well as the body.
The flowing 29-acre retreat includes pastures, a stocked pond, play fields, and trails. We are working toward enhancing our trails, adding a pool, and building a covered riding arena.
Our goal is to be a place of healing for children and their families, a place of learning and growth for therapists, and a place of renewal for all.
Tentative opening Fall 2010
